Pavel Müller is the head of the Laboratory of Fundamental Mechanisms in Bioenergetics at the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA) and a CNRS senior researcher at the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (I2BC) at the University of Paris-Saclay. He studies the reaction mechanisms of natural (and bioengineered) photoactive proteins (photoenzymes, photoreceptors or fluorescent proteins) using time-resolved optical spectroscopy.
