Yolanda Gilaberte is the president of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Head of the Dermatology Service at Miguel Servet University Hospital, and Professor of Dermatology at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. She is secretary of the European Society of Photodermatology, a member of the Board of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the European Society of Photodynamic Therapy, Honorary Director of the journal Actas Dermosifiliográficas, Editor of the Journal Frontiers of Human Skin Photobiology, and a member of the Editorial Board of Dermatologic Therapy and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. She is an Honorary Member of the Portuguese Society and received an American Academy of Dermatology’s Presidential Citation of International Dermatology in 2024. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, CILAD and the European Society of Photobiology.
