Takashi Ohtsuki is a Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems at Okayama University, Japan. After finishing his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biotechnology at University of Tokyo (1998), he worked as a research associate at RIKEN Institute, Japan, and then as an assistant professor at University of Tokyo before moving to Okayama University. His current focus is on the development of biomolecular technologies, including photoresponsive molecular technologies that can be used for biological studies and biomedical applications.
