Prof. Giltsu Choi is a Professor at KAIST in Korea. He earned his BSc from KAIST and completed his Ph.D. at Brandeis University. After completing military service at Kumho Petrochemical Co. Ltd, he joined KAIST in 2002 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and promoted to a full professor in 2010. His lab is renowned for studying a plant photoreceptor, specifically phytochrome, and its interacting transcription factors (PIFs) in Arabidopsis.
