Dr. Torres is a practicing dermatologist and photomedicine specialist from the Philippines. She completed her dermatology residency from Makati Medical Center, Philippines, and her fellowship training in Photomedicine/Vitiligo from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, USA under the mentorship of Dr. Henry Lim and Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi. She has authored and co-authored multiple scientific papers in the field of photomedicine, and has given lectures both locally and abroad. Currently, she is an active faculty member of two tertiary training hospitals in the Philippines, namely, Makati Medical Center and Tondo Medical Center; an associate editor for the Journal of the Philippine Dermatological Society; and a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society.
