Dr. Chae Gyu Lee is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Chemistry, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering (2017) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (2023) from the same institute. Dr. Lee has been immersed in the design of photosensitizer-based nanomaterials for biocompatible and immunogenic anticancer photodynamic therapies since 2015. Her current research focuses on immunogenic cell death induced by targeted photosensitizers and in vivo tumor microenvironment modulation through metronomic PDT. She has recently developed an interest in designing anticancer lipid nanoparticles to establish adaptive immunity.
