FU Berlin, BERLIN, Germany
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dennis Nürnberg is currently an Emmy Noether Research Group Leader at the Free University of Berlin (Germany). He studied Molecular Life Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany) and obtained his PhD degree in Microbiology from Queen Mary University of London (United Kingdom) in 2015. After working as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Bill Rutherford at Imperial College London (UK) from 2014-2018 he returned to Germany to start his own research group on Biochemistry and Biophysics of Photosynthetic Organisms. His group currently focusses on photosynthesis and nitrogen fixation in free-living and symbiotic cyanobacteria, using a highly interdisciplinary approach by combining molecular biology with biochemical, biophysical and bioinformatics methods.
